"WE ARE SHAPING YOUR FUTURE"
FIRST OF ALL, WHY A VOCATIONAL SCHOOL?
In the 21st century, the foundation of a country's development and progress lies in raising a qualified workforce equipped with knowledge, skills, and work habits to achieve high productivity. For this reason, vocational schools hold great importance in our country, as they do around the world.
Vocational schools are a practical choice for candidates who wish to step into the business world within two years rather than risk becoming an unemployed university graduate. In fact, across many programs tailored to industry needs, students have job opportunities lined up while still studying.
Vocational schools aim to provide students with direct occupational skills aligned with industry expectations. Consequently, they prepare students for life faster, remain deeply integrated with industry, and maintain higher capacities for employment and job creation.
Additionally, students who quickly start their careers at the end of their two-year education can continue their studies in the 3rd year at Open Education Faculties without taking any exams—allowing them to earn a salary while studying. Alternatively, through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)—which is more accessible than the AYT exam—they can qualify for matching 4-year faculties and continue their degree from the 3rd year.
WHY COMPUTER PROGRAMMING?
With the rapid advancement of computer technologies, the demand for qualified technical personnel in fields such as software development, database management, network systems, and web design increases daily. As the Zile Vocational School Computer Programming Program, we aim to train well-equipped individuals capable of meeting this need.
In our program, students receive both theoretical and practical education in software and hardware fundamentals, algorithm development, programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, etc.), web technologies, database systems, network management, and office applications. Laboratory-supported courses make the learning process more permanent and effective.
Furthermore, our students prepare for professional life through mandatory internships in public and private institutions. Graduates can launch their careers in software development companies, IT departments, technical services, or by starting their own businesses. Students who wish to do so can continue their education in 4-year bachelor's degree programs via DGS.
If you are interested in technology and want to build, develop, and make a difference in the software industry, the Zile Vocational School Computer Programming Program is tailor-made for you!
We would be delighted to welcome you among us.
SOCIAL FACILITIES
Situated on a 100-decare campus area, our Vocational School offers facilities including 2 volleyball courts, 1 basketball court, 1 indoor/enclosed basketball and volleyball court, 1 badminton court, 1 garden chess area, and 1 amphitheater.
Students can enjoy subsidized meals at the student dining hall, provided through the firm contracted by our University’s Department of Health, Culture, and Sports. They can also make use of the campus canteen.
SCHOLARSHIP / LOAN OPPORTUNITIES
In addition to scholarships and student loans provided by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution (KYK), our university provides opportunities such as part-time work during non-class hours and free meal scholarships.
ACCOMMODATION AND DORMITORY FACILITIES
To address dormitory availability—often a major concern for new university students—a KYK student dormitory complex with a capacity of 300 female and 300 male students was built on campus and opened in 2015. Consequently, our students face no accommodation issues. The city center is 3 km away from our school, with regular minibus service running between the city and campus.
